dc.descriptionAn Iconostasis, in Eastern Christian churches of Byzantine tradition, is a solid screen separating the sanctuary from the nave. On July 7, 1909 the church purchased a solid oak Iconostasis from the Joh Dopple and Company for the price of $1,200. The contract was to be made of oak. It was to be finished and highly polished in antique color.. The carvings are to be hand made and to have gold trimming.
