Description
Built in 1904�1905 by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad, the Summit Train Station is served by New Jersey Transit's Morris & Essex Lines (the Gladstone Branch and Morristown Line).
Trains arriving here on the Gladstone Line have a final destination to Hoboken Terminal. While trains Trains going to New York Penn Station originate in Dover.
The local train ride from Summit to New York is about 50 minutes while the express train takes 35 minutes.
