Abstract
Description
I often referred to this as the old yacht basin. It is located directly behind the main pavilion on the eastern bank of Newark Bay.
There is a half a mile promenade where visitors can watch the planes take off from Newark Airport or the large freight ships pulling into the docks at Port Newark.
Today this wooden bridge blocks the entrance to the old yacht basin and allows for a continuous walkway along the bay.
