| dc.description | In addition to donating the land for High Point State Park, Mr. and Mrs Kuser wanted to honor U.S Veterans. So in the winter of 1927, they hired architect Marion Sims Wyeth to erect a monument on top of High Point to honor veterans from all of America's wars They advised Mr. Wyeth that they wanted him to utilize the Bunker Hill Monument as a model for the project. The monument was completed and dedicated in 1930. | |
