Description

This map of New Jersey is located on the floor of the hall inf ant of the Gallery. The CIRCLES are the major cities and towns in New Jersey. The STARS show military engagements and the date of the battle. The TRIANGLES indicate where military encampments were located. The SQUARE shows where Washington Crossed the Delaware. DOTTED LINES show the boundaries of the conflict. STRAIGHT LINES show the borders of water. It shows the locations that were based on the "Province of New Jersey" map engraved and published in 1777 by William Fadden.
