Description
Historically the Terminal played an important role in ferrying people and it continues to do so today as one of the departure points for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The station has been listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and National Register of Historic Places since September 1975. Additionally it is a New Jersey State Historic Site.
