The Giles Mandeville house dates back to 1788 when it was given as a wedding present to Giles and Sarah Mandeville by Sarahs father. It is one of the remaining small stone houses in existence today. It is a fine example of a Dutch-American stone house typical for the region in the late-eighteenth century
