dc.descriptionHugh Roberts selected Francis Davis Millet to become the director of decoration, the same role he had for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. This is one of Mr. Millet's Lunettes in the Rotunda of the Court House. Mr. Millet would travel to Europe and unfortunately decided to return home on the Titanic.
