dc.descriptionOne of the principal attractions of Echo Lake Park is this beautiful dam. Situated on Nomahegan Brook the dam was completed in 1922 with the purpose of providing a vital water resource for the surrounding area, with a drainage area of 2.3 square miles.. The dam is 17 feet high and spans 120 feet in length, with a normal storage capacity of 48 acre-feet. A beautiful addition to Echo Lake Park
