dc.descriptionGeneral Note: This is the 2nd version of the List, with corrections (e.g. Shepherd Collock corrected to Kollock) and with 51 names in each of the 2 columns on the list, expanded from the 47 names per column in the 1st ([1792]) version. The date of this 2nd version is based on the letter transmitting the printed list from James F. Armstrong "Secretary of the Society ..." to "Major General Knox, Secretary at War" dated May 1, 1793. This letter is held by the Society of the Cincinnati Library, Washington, D.C. NJ State Library has a photocopy of the 1st version ([1792]) of the List with documentation, filed with the original of the 2nd version.
