dc.descriptionA hallmark of the Newark skyline since its construction in 1930 this 36-story office building is noted for its Art Deco detail and ornamentation. Prior to the building of the National Newark Building it was the tallest building in the city. Initially it was known as the Lefcourt Building. Vacant since 1986, it was converted into residential use. Today the building offers 317 luxury studio, one- and two-bedroom rental residences.
