dc.descriptionThe Orthodox Church altar, known as the "Holy Table". It is located in the center of the sanctuary behind the iconostasis. The altar is a central cube-shaped structure made of wood on which a consecrated cloth, Gospel Book, Tabernacle, and holy relics are placed.
