dc.descriptionThe Townsends Inlet Civic Center was built in 1888. Over the years it was home to many dances, pageants, concerts and community events. Each December the Civic Center would be transformed into Santa�s Workshop. The building would feature beautifully decorated window displays for the community to enjoy each night. In addition, the building also was host to The King Neptune Festival and many other events. Unfortunately the Civic Center faced possible foreclosure due to nonpayment of taxes.
