Description

Looking at the landscape you would never believe that a major battle took place on the fields. Today there are miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, picnic areas, a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse and a visitors center. Today, the Battlefield is peaceful where wildlife abounds in the woods and marshes, the fields produce crops of corn, wheat and soybeans, and a pick-your-own orchard. A far cry from June 28, 1778, when the sound of war rang out across this landscape. and
