Description
The mill at Smithville was originally called Oliphants Mill and was located in Gloucester County on Kings Hwy between Sharptown and Swedesboro
It was built in 1798 and operated until 1937 by the Oliphant Family as a sawmill/ gristmill complex.
In 1964, the mill was purchased by the Noyes family and moved to the Historic Smithville Village in Atlantic County.
