dc.descriptionAs a young boy Frank Hague lost his mother in childbirth. He never forgot and vowed that one day he would cut both the infant mortality rate and the mortality rate for mothers. As a result he built the world's largest Maternity Hospital and named it after his mother. The Margaret Hague The Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital is one of the most revered landmarks in Jersey City. More than 350,000 babies of record were born there from 1931 to 1979.
