Abstract

Description

St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church was founded in 1869. This large Gothic edifice was built in the 1880's on the corner of Montgomery and Brunswick Streets. It was designed by Patrick C. Keely of Brooklyn , a major Catholic architect in the latter part of the 19th century. The church was sold by the Archdiocese of Newark and now serves as a banquet hall.
