dc.descriptionGlenmont generally needed 4-6 servants to keep it running; and sometimes as many as 10 if a large affair was being hosted. People from all over the world worked there. Edison referred to his international staff as �his league of nations�, and they lived and worked in close proximity to the family, having their quarters on the third floor of the home.
