Abstract

Description

Built in 1921 the Duncan Apartment, better known as 2600 Kennedy Boulevard or The Hague Apartment was the first Skyscraper Apartment in New Jersey. It is located at the corner of Duncan and Kennedy Boulevard and was famous as the home of Mayor Frank Hague. One evening I was at a party with George Meany, the President of the AFL-CIO Labor Union and he told me that the most beautiful apartment he had ever seen was Mayor Hague's in this building.
