dc.descriptionHedden County Park is named after the Hedden family of Dover, who donated the original 40 acres in 1963. The county park was dedicated on October 4, 1970. Through its land acquisition program, the Park Commission increased the size of this general purpose park to 420 acres, which includes a 2.8-acre easement along Jackson Brook, above Randolph Avenue.
