Abstract

Description

The House on the right of this picture is the Guarini House. In 1994, a gift from Congressman Frank J. Guarini enabled the St. Peter's College to buy this house on the corner of Montgomery Street and Kennedy Boulevard. The house was named the Guarini House and today serves as the residence for the president of the college. In addition, the college established the Guarini Center of Governmental Affairs. It was the former doctor's residence. The Lee House is now the Admission Office for St. Peter's University in Jersey City. Initially this historic home was owned by the George Family and was a fine example of the homes located in this section of the city.
