dc.descriptionNamed after the Hedden family of Dover, who donated the original 40 acres in 1963, Hedden Park was dedicated on October 4, 1970. Through a land acquisition program, the Morris County Park Commission has increased the size of Hedden Park to 380 acres. Included in the park are 2 ballfields, picnic sites, hiking trails and a group picnic shelter.
