dc.descriptionThese are some of the accessories of colonial gentlemen. Item 6 is a silver and glass sundial and compass which was made in France in 1637. Item 7 is a 18th century steel blade and bone handle Barlow Pocket Knife. With its large handle and carbon steel blade the Barlow style knife was tough, affordable and popular. Item 8. is a Pen Knife It is an American product made between 1760 and 1790. It was called a pen knife because it trimmed a feather quill to make a pen.
