This icon portrays:
St. Nectarios of Aegina graduated from the University of Athens in 1885. He would become Archbishop and Wonderworker of Aegina. He is one of the most renowned Greek saints.
St. Theodore was a legionary in the Roman army who suffered martyrdom under the Emperor Diocletian in the early 4th century. He was honored as a
prominent warrior saint during the Middle Ages.
Saint Pantaleon is known in Eastern Christianity as one of the Holy Healers. He was martyred during the Emperor Diocletian persecution of 305 AD
Justin the Martyr, one of the most famous of the early Church martyrs. He is remembered both for his steadfast faith in the face of death and because he was one of the first thinkers to reconcile the faith with reason.
The stained glass window in the center is a representation of the Sacrament of Communion.
