dc.descriptionLocated in Eagle Rock Reservation the Highlawn Pavilion. It was constructed as a scenic overlook and refreshment stop. During this time it was known as "The Casino" which was the name for an Italian style summer home. During World War I the building was turned over to Thomas Edison. During this time period Mr. Edison and his staff used it to develop secret equipment to aid the war effort. Today the Highlawn Pavilion is a world-class venue for weddings as well as a world class restaurant.
