dc.descriptionIn 1946 my grandfather rented this house in Seaside Park for the month of July. The family arrived and we spent that month in Seaside Park. At 7 it was my introduction to the Jersey Shore. At that time the Jersey Central Railroad ran to Seaside Park and the train station was just two blocks from the house. On July 23, 2009 I rode past the house and received a wonderful surprise. The house looked the same with the exception of the satellite dish and the tree in the front. For that short period I was 6 again enjoying my family.
