dc.descriptionGeorge Washington is an equestrian statue by the American sculptor Frederick Roth located near the Ford Mansion, Washington's Headquarters, in Morristown, New Jersey, Morristown was the site of two winter encampments by the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. This sculpture depicts Washington in winter, wearing a uniform with a mantle and tricorner hat. He was one of America's first veterans.
