Description
Located across the street from Schooner Wharf, Bay Village opened in 1966 with a single shop Country Kettle Fudge. Within a year a new building was built adjacent to the Lucy Evelyn.
Within a short period of time the following shops opened, Windmill Belgian Waffles, Golden Nickelodeon Ice Cream Parlor, Crust & Crumb Bakery, and Gourmet Mooring Restaurant
The new buildings were designed to recreate a 19th-century replica waterfront village. This design gives visitors the feeling that they were shopping in an old waterfront village.
Today this 19th Century replica of a waterfront village features over 20 unique shops and restaurants.
