dc.descriptionEstablished in 1861, St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception is the second oldest Catholic Parish in Jersey City. The church is located on Erie Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets. This present church was built in 1903. This beautiful church was built by the Irish and Italian immigrants that lived in Jersey City. The beautiful stainless windows give this stately edifice a bright cozy feeling despite its massive size.
