dc.descriptionThe Red Mill was built in 1810 and is located on the south branch of the Raritan River in Clinton, NJ. Today it is part of The Red Mill Museum Village, a private, non-profit museum. Directly across the river is The Stone Mill. The original mill built on this site in 1763 supposedly ground wheat for General George Washington�s revolutionary army during its encampment in Morristown. Today this building is the home of the Art Museum.
