dc.descriptionThe Archbishops throne or Cathedra is located on the west side of the sanctuary. It is this throne that makes the church a cathedral. It is here where the Archbishops officiates during cathedral ceremonies. of the local church including major feasts, the Rite of Election for catechumens, and ordinations of bishops, priests, and deacons. Above hangs the current archbishop's coat of arms.
