dc.descriptionLincoln the Mystic, also known as the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, is a bronze statue by James Earle Fraser located at the entrance of Lincoln Park in Jersey City. In the 1920's, the Hudson County Lincoln Association, with the assistance of school children, raised funds to build the Lincoln Monument. From their donation of pennies and nickels, the children contributed $3500 towards the $75,000 total cost for the memorial. total cost for the memorial.
